I was looking though my photos of this past year and this one stood out to me. Not because it had the most amazing lighting, or composition, or pretty much anything photographically, but because of the affect it had on me... See, this past year 2017 I lost some very special things in my life. I lost an uncle to cancer, one to depression, a partner and best friend to greed, and my hardest loss this year, I lost my grandmother. So when I saw this photo sitting in amongst the rest of the photos I saw a family lovingly gathered around grandma and I just had to add it in. I love photographing people because it stops time if only for a moment. Take care of yourselves. Hope you enjoy.
