We had the absolute joy of photographing the Phillips family on the peaceful south beaches of Waves, North Carolina — one of the most beautiful spots in the Outer Banks for family photography.

This wasn’t just a typical beach session. The Phillips brought four generations together, including grandparents and a cherished great-grandmother, for a truly heartwarming photoshoot. One of the highlights of the evening was recreating a few treasured photos from years past — same poses, same hugs, but new smiles and fresh sea breezes. The grandkids lit up the scene, especially as they raced into the ocean hand-in-hand, kicking up waves and laughter.
