The Acosta family met me at Rodanthe Pier for an evening of Outer Banks family portraits filled with color, connection, and plenty of personality. With a group of twenty, we began with the full family, then moved through smaller combinations so everyone had something meaningful.
The dunes, sea oats, and open beach gave us a beautiful setting, and the later light brought a soft glow. The family’s mix of blues, whites, florals, and bright summer color looked wonderful against the sand and ocean. We made time for smaller groups, individual portraits, and a few fun photos that showed off the evening’s energy.
A family beach trip brings everyone together in a way that doesn’t happen often enough, and these portraits hold both the big group and the smaller moments you’ll want to remember.
If you're planning a trip to Corolla, Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, OR something a little further South, I'd love to help capture your family's time together. Some of the best memories come from simply gathering everyone in one place and letting the evening unfold.
